Open Registration can still be done by filling out the following forms for either Hockey or Learn to Skate.
Ø Hockey Open Registration form
The fees for the 2012-13 season are $310 for Hockey and $290 for Learn To Skate (LTS).
Payment by cheque is preferred please (See IMPORTANT note below) – please make payable to “Stanley Stick Hockey Assoc.” or “SSHA”. Then simply mail your registration to Stanley Stick world headquarters, at the address listed on the form.
Cheques are preferred dated with today’s date please – Visa CHEQUES are accepted. Please provide separate payment for each player.
PARENTS/GUARDIANS
Ø Please review ALL information on the registration form. PLEASE print clearly. Take note of the refund policy and other conditions.
Ø Tax Receipts for 2012-2013 season will be issued in early 2013
Ø NOTE – player registration form MUST be signed by the player’s parent or legal guardian.
Ø If you are interested in helping as a Coach or LTS Instructor please ask for an application at registration on April 14th. New coaches must also complete a Police Records Check (PRC) form. You must attend in person to complete the PRC with two pieces of government issued identification such as a driver’s licence and passport. A health card or SIN card is not acceptable. Thinking about coaching but not sure? Completing the PRC form during registration speeds up the process in September.
Ø Other volunteers also needed for communication, registration and more – please ask.
IMPORTANT!! PLEASE NOTE – here is how the acceptance process works
Ø We do not and will not know the exact number of openings in any division until September.
Ø YOU WILL KNOW YOUR CHILD IS ACCEPTED WHEN YOUR CHEQUE IS CASHED – for this reason PAYMENT BY CHEQUE IS PREFERRED – this could happen anytime from early May to the end of September. After Sept. 30th we will call you before cashing the cheque.
Ø Division conveners have until the end of August to make up preliminary teams.
Ø We will have cancellations throughout the summer and through September – we will add names from the waiting list to fill those spots – so even if you are not accepted right away you may be accepted anytime over the summer up to the end of September. Registration forms are numbered so we know the order you lined up in.
Ø Because the various division conveners manage the various waiting lists throughout the summer, we will be unable to confirm the position of your child on the waiting list until after September 1st.
Ø Coaches will call their players in mid September with specifics for the start of the season.
