We are happy to report that we collected 1,610 lbs of items and $613 from our families in support of the food bank. This included lighter and most needed items which the Food Bank was thrilled to receive. This was almost twice that of this past year and matched the 2019 Holiday Scramble.
Through your generosity, SSHA will be donating a total of $2,900 to the Children's Foundation of Guelph & Wellington's Free to Grow program and $1,300 to the Guelph Food Bank in addition to the 1,610 lbs of donations. This includes SSHA's matching contribution, coffee donations, plus the proceeds from pizza and merchandise sales over the weekend.
This weekend would not have been possible without our those volunteers who stepped up donating their time to help with organization, collection of items, and selling food and drinks. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and energy to this worthy cause!
