Concussion Safety

The health and well being of all the participants in our league is very important to us.  In accordance with Rowan's Law and the Province of Ontario the SSHA has developed a Concussion Safety Protocol.  Everyone associated with the SSHA from the participants to the parents, the coaches, referees and all volunteers must adhere to this policy.

Concussion safety must be explained to all participants.

If you are a Parent or Legal Guardian then the following Parent Concussion Code of Conduct form will be presented to you during registration.  Your acknowledgement of this form signifies that you have explained concussion safety to those in your care and that you also understand what it means and agree to adhere to the policies of the SSHA in these regards.

If you are registering to volunteer with the league, you will be required to acknowledge the Volunteer Concussion Code of Conduct.

If you suspect that anyone has suffered a concussion, then please download and fill out the SSHA Concussion Report Form
